Chinese private equity firm to invest $270 million in blockchain firm tZero
Chinese private equity firm GSR Capital is investing $270 million in blockchain startup tZero, a subsidiary of US e-commerce firm Overstock.com.
Overstock.com is an online retailer based in Salt Lake City, Utah that sells a broad range of products at low prices. The website t0.com is a majority owned subsidiary of Overstock.com, focusing on the development and commercialization of blockchain technologies. (GSR was founded in 2004 by Sonny Wu and Richard Lim.
