Chinese firm invested $12 million in UK oil and gas technology firm Plexus
Chinese firm Jereh International has agreed to acquire 5 percent stake in UK oil and gas technology firm Plexus for $12 million.
Founded in 1999, Jereh Group is a Chinese oil and gas company with 5,300 staff working globally in 20 subsidiaries. Plexus Holdings provides equipment and services for the oil and gas industry in the United Kingdom, the rest of Europe, and internationally and was incorporated in 1997. (Sun Weijie, Wang Kunxiao and Liu Zhenfeng, cofounders of Jereh, were members of the 2014 Forbes China Rich list with wealth of $1.5 billion, $1.03 billion and $800 million.)
