Chinese investors of XIO Group acquired medical firm Lumenis for $500 million
Chinese investment firm XIO Group has acquired Israeli medical firm Lumenis for $510 million.
NASDAQ-listed Lumenis provides energy-based, minimally invasive clinical solutions for the surgical, ophthalmology and aesthetic markets. (Its locations include Yokneam, Israel, where surgical and aesthetic products are manufactured, and Salt Lake City, Utah, where ophthalmic products are manufactured). XIO Group is a Hong Kong based alternative investments firm with over $ 3 billion in capital.
