|| China JD Capital acquired Ageas Hong Kong business for $1.4 billion

jd ageasJD Capital, a large Chinese private equity firm, has acquired Hong Kong business of Ageas, an international insurance group, for $1.4 billion.

Ageas is a multinational insurance company headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. It is Belgium's largest insurer, has presence in the over 50 markets and employs more than 13,000 people. Established in 2007 and headquartered in Beijing, JD Capital operates one of the largest private equity investment companies in China. Its LP investors include Temasek, Allianz, Partners Group and other multinational institutions.
